Volkswagen and Toshiba sign an agreement to develop electrical engines

The Group Volkswagen and the Japanese company Toshiba have signed an agreement on the development of electrical engines and all the rest electronic modules on the new scale «New Small Family». Also, Volkswagen and Toshiba are studying the development of a system of batteries of high thickness of energy for the next generation of electrical vehicles. «Volkswagen goes forward with the development of new technologies applied to the conduction in different areas. The cooperation with Toshiba will suppose one of the most important steps in the development of the serial production of electrical vehicles for our clients», showed the teacher Dr. Martin Winterkorn, president of the Committee of Direction of the Group Volkswagen. «The Volkswagen target, according to Winterkorn, is to be the first manufacturer in providing a large-scale production of electrical vehicles without emission, economic and sure. We still have left a lot of work ahead in research and development up to being able to complete the production of electrical vehicles.
